“My favorite part of my job is watching progress,” says Mel, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for our bank. “That might be progress internally or progress made by a team member. Sometimes it’s the progress of our organization as a whole, as we grow and become more efficient in providing outstanding service to our customers.” Mel doesn’t just enjoy watching progress; she delivers it every day in her position as COO. We’re not surprised at all. Progress has been a part of Mel’s career from the start.
She joined our team in 2014 and brought with her more than two decades of experience in banking in central Oklahoma. In addition to developing and implementing operational processes, she also specializes in business development, training and electronic payment systems. With her extensive knowledge in not only operations, but new technology as well, Mel is a real Jill-of-all-trades. But as important as she is to our bank, like any great leader she recognizes great work takes a team.
