Shelley Pirkle defines "success" as achieving goals for herself—and our customers.

“Success for me is achieving the goals that I’ve set for myself,” says Shelley Pirkle, Credit Analyst – Portfolio Manager. “It’s important to me to continually work towards bettering myself, my family and my community.” Bettering herself and others is what Shelley does best. She’s proven this time and again since she joined our team nearly four years ago.

Not that we’re surprised, as Shelley impressed us from the start. She joined our team in 2015, the same year she graduated with an MBA from the University of Oklahoma’s prestigious Price College of Business. She has worked for more than a decade in banking, and puts that experience to work for our customers, no matter their personal or financial objectives. “Whether it’s saving money, investing in real estate or buying a new car, by helping our customers stay on track financially, we help them focus on what’s most important to them,” says Shelley. 

Shelley’s commitment to our customers extends beyond the normal 9-to-5 (or 8:30 a.m.—6 p.m., in our case). Even in her free time she’s brushing up on her financial skills and knowledge. “Staying on top of current trends and services allows me to provide a benefit to our customers and our community,” says Shelley. “I remain knowledgeable through a myriad of resources, including various local and national news outlets and newsletters, continuing education, and my current favorite—relevant podcasts.”  

Whether personal or professional, achieving objectives comes naturally to Shelley. Her attitude, work ethic and dedication to serving others are the reasons why. “It’s extremely rewarding to work with people to help them realize their financial goals.”
