Jeff Odom Joins Oklahoma State Bank as Vice President
Jeff Odom, a 16-year veteran of the Oklahoma banking industry, has joined Oklahoma State Bank (OSB) as vice president and commercial relationship manager. His primary roles are managing and growing the bank’s Small Business Administration (SBA) guaranteed loan portfolio, as well as its asset-based and agriculture loan portfolios.
Odom brings a wealth of commercial lending experience to OSB. Before his current position, he served as vice president of Citizens Bank of Edmond (Okla.), where he managed a diverse, $50-million commercial loan portfolio.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness (minor in finance) from Oklahoma State University in 2002, Odom went to work for First National Bank in Heavener, Okla. During his 12 years there, he was in charge of agriculture lending and managed a $21.5-million commercial loan portfolio, among other responsibilities.
“Jeff is a tremendous asset to our team,” said CEO Steve McDaniel. “Having his experience and expertise on board enables OSB to provide an even higher level of service to our commercial customers.”
Odom, who also has a degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, has been a member of the Oklahoma Bankers Association agricultural committee since 2010. He is a fellow of the Institute of Emerging Leaders, and an active member of the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce and Guthrie Business Council.
In 2016, The Business Times recognized Odom in its annual top “20 Under 40” list of business leaders. Please join us in welcoming Jeff to the OSB team!
